NEWLY RENOVATED IN 2009!
Long View Cottage is extremely private, sitting alone in a quiet cove on Trout Lake. It is surrounded by 7 acres of wooded land and bordered by 1700 feet of water frontage. True to its name, Long View Cottage has a view of the entire length of the lake, and looks out on undeveloped Trout Lake State Forest.
On a small bluff sits the deck, enveloped by pine trees where one can soak in a gas-fired cedar hot tub. A large sandy beach with a shallow wading area is perfect for young children; older children can swim out to the raft or to Blueberry Island, a private island, part of the Long View property. 13' Boston Whaler boat with 9.9 hp motor, paddle boat, canoe, kayaks are provided. A lighted bon-fire circle, a lighted volleyball court, and a private Har-Tru tennis court round out this recreational paradise.
The inside of Long View has post and beam construction with cathedral ceiling and 6 skylights, wrap-around lakefront windows, massive fireplace, new leather sofas (one opens into queen size bed), kitchen with island of granite countertop, bedroom with picture window and king-size bed, loft with futon which opens into double bed, gas heater in great room and bedroom, flat screen TV with satellite service.
